It’s right around the corner!
The Overwatch Development team is all set to release their 25th playable character into the game. Orisa is the robotic hero of Numbani, and has been thoroughly tested on the PTR. Today Blizzard announced her release date for all three platforms along side a special “behind the scenes” video (which was teased by Jeff Kaplan during his AMA).
If history has shown us anything, it is that Orisa will most likely come with her own animated short on release day, just like Sombra did, and will most likely bring with her a patch to the game to implement some changes to existing heroes, such as the upcoming Ana and Bastion nerfs. Gamers on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 can expect to fight to get their hands on the new character on March 21st, which is only one week away. Although if you want to actually get to play her, you’re probably going to have to hit up the arcade for some “No Limits” play, because everyone will be trying to play her in every game mode. So prepare for some robotic fun, and lets all get hyped up for what we all obviously wanted, and that’s Terry Crews as Doomfist!
